The Road to Creating Successful Online Businesses
Don't get me wrong. I love technology and I love my GPS! When I moved to Los Angeles 18 months ago, it saved by butt a thousand times! I probably would have disappeared into the great abyss, known as the 405, without it.

In fact, building a successful anything requires a plan. Operating on autopilot will not do! So the first step is identifying where you are and where you want to go, and then putting together a clear roadmap that leads the way to your destination.
Now, another important thing to keep in mind is that when you're driving along from point A to point B, you run into all types of people. Maybe you've just spent the last 22 hours in the car and it's been a while since you've talked to an actual person. You're so excited that you just can't wait to tell them everything and anything.
That's nice. Sharing is good. Just remember that in creating successful online businesses, they key is to spend as much time as possible talking to people who are genuinely interested in what you have to offer. You do this by asking questions... lots of them... to see if there is a good fit. Stalking grandma, aunts, uncles and BFF's is not going to get you any closer to creating a successful online business. Targeting people who want your service is.
Lastly, the most important thing you can do to build and maintain successful online businesses is to take care of yourself. I know, I know... when you're on the road it's a challenge to eat right and exercise. All of those late nights, time changes, greasy burgers, french fries, shakes... temptation everywhere.
You should expect to put in a lot of hours when building your business. Hopefully, you'll be doing it because you love it and it won't feel like work. But just like you have to put gas in the gas tank, you have to put fuel in your body. This means eating healthy foods at normal hours during the day. Also, carve in time for some exercise. It doesn't have to be strenuous. 20-30 minutes of daily activity will help keep you healthy and energized.
